Cardiovascular system

The cells of large multicellular animals can not get directly directly oxygen and nutrients they need from the external environment.
The seventh oxygen and nutrients must be transported to cells. This is one of the main functions of blood that circulates in the blood vessels through the pumping action that makes the heart which makes the heart. The heart, blood vessels and tissues partners make up the cardiovascular system. The heart consists of four cameras, two atria and two ventricles, which form a pair of pumping mechanisms arranged in parallel. The right ventricle sends blood to the lungs desoxigenada where absorbs oxygen from the air, while the left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood returning from the lungs to the rest of the body for providing oxygen to tissues.
